The Calgary Bisons proudly represent the Calgary Buffalo Hockey Association at the elite Bantam AAA level. The history of the organization dates prior to World War II and is the oldest minor hockey association in Calgary. Peter Lougheed (former Premier of Alberta), Ron Southern (ATCO, Spruce Meadows), and John Davidson (President of Hockey Operations Columbus Blue Jackets) are just a few of the many Buffalo's alumni who have moved on to make significant contributions to the community. Current NHL stars who wore the Buffalo's jersey during their Bantam and Midget years include Jordan Eberle, Brayden Point, and Adam Lowry. The Bisons are comprised of the elite level 2003 and 2004 born players living in the southeast quadrant of Calgary. We are honoured to continue our annual tradition of competing in the John Reid Memorial Tournament.
